In May, Microsoft released Microsoft Expression Studio 2, a set of five professional design tools and technologies aimed specifically at web and multimedia developers and designers. One of the biggest additions in version 2 was the addition of Silverlight support across the applications. With the recent release of Silverlight 2 RC0 came the release of SP1 Preview for Expression Blend 2, a user interface design tool for creating graphical interfaces for web and desktop applications. Now it appears that Expression Media, a robust digital asset management solution for photographers and other creative professionals, has beat Expression Blend to the SP1 punch: Expression Media 2 SP1 has been released.
The update, which fixes over 400 bugs and contains a plethora of feature improvements, is available for both Windows (3.0MB) and for Mac (59.5MB). Anyone who purchased Expression Media as a standalone application, as part of the Expression Studio suite, or as part of the Office 2008 for Mac Media Edition, can install the service pack, which should update Expression Media to version 2.0.1628.0. Windows users who already have Expression Media installed should also see the update appear in Windows Update. Microsoft has not revealed when SP1s will be released for the other Expression 2 applications, but we'll keep you posted as more information becomes available.

Real Media For Mac
I have purchased Microsoft Expression Media 2 from Amazon MAC version. It opens but it will not install. I choose my hard drive icon and get the message 'that it can not be installed because a later version is already in my hard drive'. I use to have Expression Media 3 which failed and am trying to replace it.
